Civil Society Network Against Corruption (CSNAC) is a coalition of over hundred and fifty Anti-corruption organization whose primary aim is to constructively combat corruption vigorously and to ensure the effective monitoring of the various Anti-corruption agencies in the fight against corruption and contribute towards the enthronement of transparency, accountability, probity and total commitment in the fight to eradicate corruption in Nigeria.
Following your response to our petition to the Ministry dated 10th November, 2015 than an investigation be carried out on the matter, Civil Society Network Against Corruption (CSNAC) is writing pursuant to the Freedom of Information Act, requesting you to provide a detailed information about the result of your findings.
By virtue of Section 4(a) of the FOI Act, when a person makes a request for information from a public official, the institution or agency to whom the application is directed under a binding legal obligation to provide the applicant with the information requested for, except as otherwise provided by the Act, within seven (7) days after the application is received.
We humbly rely on the above provisions of the FOI Act and once again request your office to provide our request within the next seven (7) days as failure to grant our request may compel CSNAC to move against your office by reliance of the provisions of the FOI Act.
