Civil Society Network Against Corruption (CSNAC) is a coalition of over hundred and fifty Anti-corruption organizations whose primary aim is to constructively combat corruption vigorously and to ensure the effective monitoring of the various Anti-graft agencies in the fight against corruption and contribute towards the enthronement of transparency, accountability, probity and total commitment in the fight to eradicate corruption in Nigeria.

In our petition to the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) dated the 30th day of June, 2015, we requested for the investigation and prosecution of the masterminds of the ghost-worker scam that has rocked the Federal civil service and perpetrated at huge cost to the country.
However, in its response CB.3422/EFCC/DOPS/VOL.6/36 dated the 16th day of July, 2015, the EFCC stated that as follows:
“We write to acknowledge the receipt of your letter dated 30th June, 2015 on the above subject and hereby advise that you follow up the case at Independent Corrupt Practice and other related Offences Commission (ICPC) where the case is currently being investigated”
In the light of the above, we hereby request an update on the investigation of the above subject matter and hope our request will be promptly attended to in accordance with section 2, 3 and 4 of the FoI Act.
Thank you in anticipation of your cooperation.
Sincerely,
